Notes from the Founder
I admit I have a slight bias towards this tea. In fact, as I'm writing this (it's almost midnight), I've just polished off my third cup and my mouth is watering for more. Nevertheless, I will be patient and wait until my good friend Hannah and her friend Jess arrive from the airport (all the way from England!) to brew another pot (they drink tea there any time of day there, don't they?).
Every time I brew this one, I have this uncontrollable urge to grab the nearest person and express my utter amazement and delight "look at the leaves, they're GLOWING GREEN". Looks like Hannah will be the next to deal with my crazy Jade Mist fetish.
They arrive and I'm super excited they accept my offer for tea. "So apparently I like green tea," Jess says with a certain degree of surprise after she takes a sip, "where can I acquire some?". I'm loving the Queen's English, very fancy. Hannah gives a more than satisfying response to my joy at glowing green tea and it's off to bed for me.
My world is much happier with Jade Mist, and perhaps that's the theanine talking, but even if isn't, the taste is more than enough for me.
Happy brewing!
