Tielka Breakfast black tea is the perfect base for bubble milk tea — rich, full-bodied, and strong enough to hold its own against milk and sweetener. Add chewy tapioca pearls and ice, and you have something worth staying home for.
Black pearls work best — available at most supermarkets or Asian grocers

Cook more than you need. Keep the rest in their cooking water in an airtight container in the fridge — they'll stay soft and chewy for next time.
How To Make It
Instructions
01
Cook the tapioca pearls. Bring four cups of water to the boil, add pearls, and cook for 6 minutes. Test for softness, then drain, rinse well, and toss with a little sweetener. Set aside.
02
Brew the tea. Steep Tielka Breakfast in boiling water for 3–5 minutes. Add your sweetener now so it dissolves. Remove leaves or bags, then add the cool water.
03
Assemble. Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour one cup of tea into each. Divide tapioca pearls evenly between glasses. Top with milk to taste.
04
Serve with a wide straw and enjoy immediately.
The Tea

I love the quality of the teas.
The tea bags are better than the usual common bags. Not being a tea drinker I was surprised I enjoyed several tea types.
