Cucumber Mint Green Iced Tea

Jade Mist green tea brewed cool, with cucumber puree, fresh mint, and a hit of citrus. The cucumber adds an unexpected texture that works beautifully — and a touch of honey in the brew ties it all together. Make it the night before and let the flavours find each other while you sleep.

What You Need
Ingredients

Jade Mist Green Tea, brewed
4 tbsp loose leaf or 8 tea bags — brewed at 70°C for 4 minutes. Add honey while hot to dissolve.
4–5 sprigs
Fresh mint leaves
Finely chopped
½ large
Cucumber
Peeled, deseeded, and pureed
¼ cup
Fresh lemon or lime juice
To taste
Honey
Add to tea while brewing so it dissolves fully
To garnish
Whole mint leaves and cucumber ribbons

How To Make It

    Brew Jade Mist at 70°C for 4 minutes. Add honey while the tea is hot and stir to dissolve. Set aside to cool slightly.

    Add the brewed tea, chopped mint, cucumber puree, and citrus juice to a 2L jug. Stir to combine.

    Chill for several hours or overnight. The longer it sits, the more the flavours develop.

    If you prefer a clean pour, strain out the mint and cucumber before serving. Or leave them in — your call.

    Fill a tall glass with ice, pour over the tea, and garnish with mint leaves and cucumber ribbons.
A little extra
A shot of gin or vodka turns this into something worth dressing up for. Add after pouring over ice.
