A little over a year ago, I felt a quiet pull to speak. Not in conversation, but from a platform. It felt right. It also felt far too big, bigger than anything I could manage in a month. I could see where I wanted to land, but none of the steps to get there.
So I did the one thing I knew how to do. I gave it a half day. Wednesday morning. No blueprint, no checklist, just one block of the week that belonged to it. Jade Mist green tea in hand, I’d sit down and chip away. Slow at first, and unclear. Then, with repetition, a little faster and a little clearer.
Last week, my speaker's website rebeccadomorev.com went live, a talk built for women carrying full lives. A year of quiet Wednesdays made it real.
